Acupuncture Appointments
Acupuncture treatments not only provide an opportunity to lay back & relax but they can also be used to address many health concerns.
Acupuncture appointments are conducted in person and take about 60 minutes in length. You will spend approximately 45 minutes laying with needles, and 15 minutes setting up & removing needles.
All needles used are sterile and for 1-time use. The insertion of an acupuncture needle may be felt initially but the treatments should never be painful. Those who are hesitant or have a fear of needles often find the treatments relaxing and enjoyable.

How does Acupuncture work?
The insertion of acupuncture needles increases blood flow to the area and activates the central nervous system. In doing so, it stimulates the release of chemicals into the tissue to help facilitate the healing process, promoting emotional & physical well-being. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this stimulation is referred to as the stimulation of "Qi" our vital force. When Qi is blocked, diminished, or unbalanced, disease and illness can result.
The benefits of acupuncture include:
Improved circulation,
Muscle relaxation
Decreased inflammation
Decreased pain
Relaxation.
