Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to live in Ontario to work with you?

Yes! Since I am an Ontario licensed Naturopathic Doctor you must be an Ontario resident in order to receive 1:1 care.

Do you offer in-person consultations?

I offer both in-person and virtual consultations. In-person appointments are located at the White Birch Clinic in Oakville, Ontario.

Does my initial appointment have to be in person?

Nope! Your appointments can all be done virtually. There may be instances where I recommend you schedule an in-person appointment with either myself or another healthcare provider closer to where you live to ensure thorough care.

Are your services covered by OHIP?

Unfortunately, naturopathic care is not currently covered by OHIP. However, most private insurance companies provide coverage for naturopathic services.

Do you only work with fertility patients?

My practice focuses on supporting those with reproductive, hormonal, and fertility concerns from preconception to post-partum. However, I do have experience and enjoy working with those with a variety of health concerns. Book a free discovery call to see if we would be a good fit, otherwise, I'm happy to refer you to another Naturopathic Doctor who would be best suited to support you.

Do you work with men, women, trans and non-binary people?

Yes! I work with people of all identities.

Do you work with same-sex couples?

Yes of course!

Yes! Whether you are undergoing cycle monitoring (medicated or unmedicated), IUI, or IVF all treatment plans are tailored to you specifically, ensuring they are in line with your concerns and safe alongside your medications & procedures.

How do I prepare for my virtual consultation?

If we are meeting virtually, my secure video chat platform works best while using google chrome. You can also access the video call through your mobile device using Jane app. Thirty minutes prior to your virtual appointment you will receive an email to join the video call where you will have to opportunity to test your speakers & microphone.

How do I prepare for my initial consultation?

Prior to your appointment, you will be emailed an intake and consent form to fill out. You are also welcome to prepare any questions, topics or provide test results for us to review together.

How do I prepare for my acupuncture appointment?

If possible, arrive at your appointment wearing comfortable clothes. Pant legs and shirt sleeves that can roll up to the knees and elbows are best. As well, access to your abdomen may be necessary. There are sheets and blankets that can be used if clothing is uncomfortable or restricting. For your safety please come having eaten, well hydrated, and not under the influence of any alcohol or recreational substances.
